- you get is exaggerated claims of why "my compiler/car is better
- than yours, which really sucks".

- Generally, the latest is the "best" unless it happens to be a buggy
- release. No compiler is perfect. I have no experience with Symantec
- on the PC (Mac yes) and I currently use MSVC++4.0, BC++4.5 and
- occasionally Watcom 10.0. They are all good products, and I have
- an opinion as to which is the best; however, it would be meaning-
- less since one is a recent release while the others are over a year
- old.

- BTW, BC++5.0 hasn't been released yet. The latest version
- today is 4.53. According to the pre-release propaganda, I
- have very high expectations of BC5.0. Unless it turns out to
- be buggy, It'll be the King of the Hill -- until Microsoft comes
- out with a new version.
